BRIEF



The objective was to give practical surface modelling experience using NX 11 across the various design and manufacturing activities for a consumer product. We were also expected to critically review the effectiveness of software tools and the contribution they could make to a typical design engineer’s workflow.

SOLUTION



The Harpic bottle chosen was the hardest difficulty due to the complex surfaces and details involved. This proved an excellent challenge of my surface modelling skills and was completed to a high degree of accuracy. Overall the project was an excellent way to enhance my CAD skills further and learn more about CNC processing.
